Searching databases
Overview
Databases use various search systems. The name of the database search system is listed in the Notes column.
How can I access the databases?
You need a University of Wollongong email account to access the databases. For questions regarding your email account contact Information Technology Services (02 4221 3775).
Some databases require additional Passwords
Searching
Your search strategy gives you a comprehensive list of possible keywords to use when searching
databases. Different combinations will suit some databases better than others. After you have
conducted your search, evaluate the search results and revise your search strategy
to improve your results if needed.
