The Internet can be a valuable research tool giving
access to many documents, images and sound files
which might otherwise be unavailable. At times however,
the amount of information on the Internet can be
overwhelming and may not be of high quality. Finding
relevant information using the Internet requires
knowledge and skill in using the various search
tools available such as subject directories, search
engines and meta-search engines.
Note: It is strongly recommended
to evaluate all information you
find on the Internet. To gain an understanding of
key issues to be considered when evaluating information
located on the Internet, check out the Evaluating
module.
