Locating the full text

If the database you have searched does not include full text you will need to search the catalogue to determine if the UOW Library holds the title either in print or electronically.

** Remember to search with the source (i.e. journal title, book title etc.) NOT the article title, chapter title etc. and to check holdings **

What if the UOW library doesn't hold the item I need?

The UOW Library does not subscribe to every item listed in the databases. Therefore, you may not be able to access the fulltext of all references you find.

NOTE: To access books and journals you will need to visit the appropriate library. University students can apply for reciprocal borrowing rights with other libraries. See the Reciprocal borrowing information for UOW students & staff webpage for more information.

Document Delivery

Academic staff, Postgraduate and Honors students may request books, and articles not held at the UOW Library using the Document Delivery Service.
